About me

I am a chartered clinical and forensic psychologist, therapist and clinical supervisor. I also have a post graduate diploma in Health and Social Care Management, and several postgraduate certificates in integrative psychotherapy, systemic psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, NLP, and TLT. I am also Autism Spectrum Condition assessor – ADOS-2 trained.

I have worked for the last 16 years as a qualified psychologist, social support worker (including work with people with learning disabilities and autism, addictions, mental health problems, and generic family work), and as a probation officer.

My experience as an independent counsellor, therapist, and clinical and forensic psychologist is broad, and I have worked with clients who have presented with a wide variety of problems. I have practised as a psychologist within NHS services – in psychiatric hospitals, community teams and diagnostic facilities, police forces, psychotherapy centres, independent diagnostic centres, and self-development agencies, and have prepared psychological assessments for courts of law. I also have experience as a psychological therapist and psychologist within the multicultural and diverse communities. I am experienced in providing specialist psychological assessments and therapies, interpretation and integration of complex data. I am multi skilled and able to manage a client’s needs based upon an appropriate assessment of the client problem, existing situation and expectations.

I work with individuals, couples, families and groups.

I currently run autism diagnostic service for children and adults, and group therapy sessions for drug and alcohol users and co-dependent people in Oxfordshire area.

I am registered with, and work according to the ethical standards of HCPC, BPS, and PPA, and undertake regular supervision and ongoing professional development, and am fully insured.
